Saturday night

It is the night before we leave for Ecuador. We are experiecing such a huge range of emotions. On the one hand we can't wait to go. I mean, come on. . . this is the most amazing opportunity we have ever had. We truly feel that God is allowing us a wonderful chance to serve him in a way that goes beyond our comprehension. We pray that He will use us in a mighty way.

On the other hand, we are nervous and anxious. We don't know what to do and what to expect. We don't speak the language and we don't know anything about the culture. Oh my goodness. . .

This is going to be such a wonderful experience. This is just one more way that God is reminding us that we are not in control. Praise God! We hope you will come along with us on this wild experience.

    Thanks for doing the blog. This will be a fun way to experience the trip with you. As for not speaking the language, I would disagree. You speak the language of the love from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and He has given you a beautiful smile. That's ALL you need! Also, remember that God has sent you on this journey, so that means HE has equipped you fully. No worries dear servant. God is in control!
